TikTok is running a master class on acting as guilty as possible when faced with allegations of wrongdoing. First the spam the congress people push notification, then the comments about shutting it down being preferable to selling US biz, now we're at threats to stakeholders.

- gverri 3y agoBy your standards US social media companies are as guilty as TikTok since they have all employed the same tactics before. God, here in Brazil they did the EXACT same thing. Ask people to spam congress and threat to leave if they don't get what they want.
- bluefishinit 3y agoI disagree. It looks like they're fighting for the rights of US citizens. If you were one of the millions of people who use and like the app, you might feel the same way.
- AustinDev 3y agoI use and like the application. I'm just skeptical of a government that doesn't allow any of our social networks in their country and expects us to allow their social networks in our country. Seems like it should be symmetrical.
