- AndrewKemendo 3y agoIt’s glossed over in the article but “Very strategic location” is an understatement. Guam is the most “forward” sovereign US territory to our INDOPACOM allies and adversaries. So it’s basically target group 2 in any major Pacific Rim calamity behind Okinawa etc (Including Russia) Source: Me; I worked at Andersen for ~3 years in 2009-2012
