I was up cleaning a wasps nest out of our panels yesterday (not because it was affecting the panels, just causing trouble for the people sitting under them). The panels are still working fine but 10 years of accumulation of leaves and organic matter has left them not as shiny as they were. But if there were any moving parts I couldn't imagine them still being operational after this time.
