When the concern is national security why would they push a trade reciprocity argument? You do know that Biden cannot just lie and get away with it right? Unlike in authoritarian countries, nearly all American records will be unsealed within a single generation. Further, the press usually gets the wind of stuff being hidden. That doesn’t stop the government from trying to hide stuff and they often succeed, but why would they take a chance on something like this which gives them an extremely tiny benefit at best.
