I assume the reason is that the traffic naturally goes slower when the lanes are narrower. But it's strange that the article avoids any kind of attempt to explain it. Unless I missed it.
- g42gregory 3y agoI am guessing that this report is encouraging to make driving in the city less viable and shift money to the ESG as a result.
