Eh. I have a roof top tent I paid about as much for, that's just how much these things cost. Mine however has a hard shell that leaked like a mf^ and has probably cost me more than that in MPG. But it sets up and tears down in < 1 minute, which is nice when a cop has woken you up in the middle of the night to yell at you and threaten to have you ticketed for sleeping in a public place on land you own (BLM, for instance). The renders were never going to work by the way... you can't have a tent with a mesh top. This was always going to need a rain fly of some sort. ^ One sleepless freezing cold night with a stream of water constantly dripping on your sleeping bag will teach you to keep a tube of Lexel on hand at all times like nothing else. Accept no substitutes.
