The Case Against Embed Links
- compressedgas 3y agoThe article is disappointingly not xanalogical. It is actually about that services such as the mentioned https://github.com/MinnDevelopment/fxreddit https://github.com/MinnDevelopment/fxreddit that provide improved opengraph previews are 'phishing links'.
- Jack_Faller 3y agoWhich is the primary case against them, no? Xanadu is cool and all, but I haven't the foggiest what that word means means. I guess it is just the relatedness of the title to the content. Also, it's really saying that they could easily be used as phishing links. Saying that they are is just a form of hyperbole.
