> Am I the only one who hates working from home? I talked to a lot of tech workers in SV and found out that a plurality prefers hybrid, a smaller minority prefers fully remote and an even smaller minority prefers fully office. People just want balance in their lives. Also, being in SV, everyone was aware of the fact that fully-remote will inevitably lead to "Detroitization" of SV, as companies can just hire in the cheapest cities around the world. So there is also a selfish motive to demand in-office work.
