Figures are based on the FBI's tally of $12.5 billion in 2023 online scams. Ransomware has declined (0.674% in 2020, 0.4768% in 2023): $59.6 million. Digital currency usage has increased (5.7% in 2020, 30.4% in 2023): $3.8 billion. Which means we're still in agreement.
