having self-control could be a result of having higher IQ: being better able to figure out the future results of current behavior.
And "higher IQ leads to power" (on average, population statistic) is not counterintuitive.
- faeriechangling 3y agoYou would think so, but IQ and conscientiousness have essentially zero correlation. Smart but lazy is an actual thing.
