I bet it has. No one is immune in a recession; quality, talented people get laid off of the time.
- axod 18y agoI'm betting there are some industries that are doing bumper business, and usually see a peak in a recession. For some industries/products, the recession is great news I'm sure.
- fallentimes 18y agoThere's always exceptions. Some law firms essentially specialize in suing companies during a recession. Short sellers and proprietary trading firms are also doing well especially if they longed volatility. The other 99% of the states (world?) is struggling.
