In what way is Russia closed to westerners? Last I checked a few months ago, there were no restrictions on entry for British citizens like myself, although a land entry via one of the Baltic states would be necessary, and cash would be difficult to legally exchange.
- iso8859-1 3y agoIs it not possible to enter through Turkey? Turkish Airlines has a pretty expansive network.
- flemhans 3y agoYes or Belgrade. But I'd not recommend it. You can also just stay in Belgrade which has become mini-Russia
- multjoy 3y agoThe FCO advises against all travel to Russia, which means you're on your own if you get swept up in a wave of arbitrary detention and find yourself on a truck to the frontline in Ukraine.
