Out of curiosity, what got you to finally try a Copilot after all of these years? Also where can I learn more about using AI to sell items on Kijiji? I really liked your point on asking copilot to suggest code improvements, I wonder if we could make this proactively.
- oalders 3y agoNice that you're in Canada. I'm in the GTA. :) I've been using Copilot for quite a while, but I just recently got access to the Chat component at $work, so I figured I'd try it out. For Kijiji, what I've found is a workflow like: * photograph item * maybe do Google image search to confirm what item actually is (model # etc) * ask AI to write the item description based on the model # etc, including a tagline, maybe injecting humour. this can save a lot of time if, for example, you're selling something that comes with a lot of components that could be highlighted * ask AI to suggest a price for the item, based on the condition The last one is key, because it can save a lot of digging around and it could turn up results you weren't expecting if you're just checking eBay etc for similar listings. Ideally there would be an app that would do all of this for you, since listing multiple items is pretty tedious. I'm not sure I sell enough stuff to make a lot of automation worthwhile, but it might be a fun project.
