Ask HN: Has the use of 'Ask HN' posts decreased since the release of ChatGPT?
I'm curious about this trend. Perhaps someone could reply with data and their methodology.
- philomath_mn 3y agoime, "Ask HN" is not a place you go looking for a specific answer, it is a place for advice, personal stories, and general discussion. Those are the _last_ things I'd ask ChatGPT about.
- minimaxir 3y agoUnfortunately the Hacker News BigQuery dataset hasn't been updated since Sep 2022, otherwise this question would be as easy as a SQL query.

- d--b 3y agoWhy don't you ask ChatGPT? ^_^;
- pedrodelfino 3y agoHere it goes: "As of my last training data up to April 2023, I don't have the capability to directly access or analyze real-time internet data or databases, including those from Hacker News. Therefore, I can't provide a specific answer or data on trends related to 'Ask HN' posts in relation to the release of ChatGPT."
