UNESCO's GenAI strategy talks a lot about fears of students cheating on papers but it does set a poor precedence if teachers seem not to hold up their end of the bargain. Stanford HAI seems to offer some leadership in thought on this issue. GenAI could generate novel questions, not just answers. It could make both kids and adults more curious about our world.
