I mean I have seen a house framed in a day. How many days were spent "finishing" the house? What about when I want to move a wall and remodel? Also they try to make it sound like there are no windows because this is a data center but the truth is windows and openings in the wall slow this build process down alot.

Inner finishing and thin interior walls are very often done by the final owner to their own liking so it's sometimes not considered part of the construction itself. We call it "shell and core".
- supermatt 3y agoThere are lots of timber framed houses being constructed in Europe. I guess it depends on local resources. In pretty much all of Northern Europe it is very common to build in timber frame or log.
