You're generally correct, but what really stings is Claude 3 Opus released right at the same time. It's superior to GPT-4 in pretty much every way I've tested.

You're generally correct, but what really stings is Claude 3 Opus released right at the same time. It's superior to GPT-4 in pretty much every way I've tested. Center of gravity has shifted across a few streets to Anthropic seemingly overnight.

- lanstin 3y agoI have had homework questions (functional analysis and commutative ring theory) that GPT-4 is good enough for but Claude3 has been strikingly better.
