Well the article says they are left-wing, and "activism arson" sounds a lot like something a hippy would do, so I think he's made a fair deduction in this case.

- snypher 3y ago'Hippies' aren't really known for activism or violent crimes, in my opinion. The article states environmental activist groups protesting nearby distanced themselves from the arson attacks, which is more in line with what 'hippies' would do.

You do not know what a hippie even is, man. Read the Wikipedia page on them. While you’re there check out the eco terrorism page. There’s overlap but it’s not equally bidirectional making this thread amusing but also misinformation that could have been easily debunked for you any time over the past five decades. There’s a big difference between an eco terrorist and a hippie. Hippie is a lifestyle whereas eco terrorist isn’t unless you’re Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Shell, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia, BP, or the United States government and armed services.
