From what I've seen freelancing for more than 10 years, most companies will rather go bankrupt than allow remote working.
The only thing that can explain this perfectly well in my opinion is: manager ego. As simple as that.

- mech422 3y agoI've had the opposite experience as a contractor and FTE... I've been remote for 20 years, and every year it seems to get easier / more normal...
