I've never seen an outage this bad and I've been on Facebook since the oughts.
- Ambroos 3y agoThe 2021 outage was worse, it completely killed the network access to FB data centers for hours, and even led to issues with FB employees accessing offices (since the badge readers were also offline). It was so bad it got it's own Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Facebook_outage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Facebook_outage
- wly_cdgr 3y agoI don't remember that one - must have been on a hiking trip. This one might turn out to be worse yet! Hopefully not.
