Forensic spray using jellyfish protein could speed up fingerprint detection
- ggm 3y agoUsing bio-active chemicals to bind to products of human touch is interesting. I wonder how effective they'd be against prints through thin plastic like clingfilm (for instance) where the print has no biological basis (assuming you can get the clingfilm free of other human product putting it on) or a spray coating on the hands. Luminol has a highly specific binding. Maybe we're heading to a spray with 3 or more chemical/biological contents to pick up the pattern as many ways as possible?
