Also note that drugs like Ozempic (GLP1 Receptor Agonists) work in at least the following ways:
- slow down stomach emptying (which was noted)
- improving glucose disposal
- reduce appetite by affecting brain chemistry
GLP1 RAs are really really interesting compounds (I'm a bit biased of course)
- tibbydudeza 3y agoI must note my gut has some interesting moments with it - some days - also I used to love mince (think US calls it a sloppy joe) - now I can't stand the sight and smell of it.
