Have you seen the other BEVs available in America? There really isn't much choice if you don't want an SUV -- your options are basically a Tesla or a Chevy Bolt

    Great car. Suffers from some of the touchscreen-itis but nowhere near the Tesla nonsense. Not even in the same ballpark.

  I just got a Mercedes EQB and it's great. Depending on trim it's either about the same price or somewhat cheaper than a Model X. There are physical controls for damn near everything too. The voice assistant isn't terrible, but Carplay/Android Auto is standard anyway so who cares. Disclaimer: mine is a subsidized employee lease.
