Citra Nintendo 3DS/DS emulator is gone from GitHub
- ronsor 3y agoNintendo shut down the whole company, so yes, Citra will be gone as well.
- parl_match 3y agoCitra is an open source project, I don't think there's a company associated with development. Even if there was, a company shutting down almost never means the associated project is taken off the internet.
- ronsor 3y agoCitra is from the same company that develops Yuzu. Nintendo is compelling them to take down their repositories and websites.
- neffo 3y agoYuzu repo has a few archives (mastodon link): https://pounced-on.me/@LMAOYEEN/112039467863754551 https://pounced-on.me/@LMAOYEEN/112039467863754551 Haven't seen anything for Citra yet
- haunter 3y agoAs it seems IA Wayback Machine saved all the last nighties (2104) for Windows, Mac, Linux AppImage.

- gundamdoubleO 3y agoThey were also the team behind Yuzu (Switch emulator) who recently agreed to take that offline.
- daedalus2027 3y agoAll released Nintendo software should be inspected for potential FLOSS license violations and made to cease and desist like they do with emulator developers or at least take them to court.
- rancour 3y agoKeep wishing.
