Spotify did take care of themselves. that is what we are seeing the result of now.
- carlosjobim 3y agoArgument by down votes only tells something about the people down voting and those who give credit to such behaviour. Let's see who can boo the loudest! Yes Spotify didn't want to invest time, money and effort to win customers in the free market, so they went to the bureaucrats to force Apple to let them get access to their customer base. And the bureaucrats got to steal some juicy billions for themselves, because this fine is not going to consumers. It's kind of ironic if you consider what kind of business model Spotify themselves have, but this probably goes over the heads of down voting hackers.
- madsbuch 3y agowhat free market? can you explain me what a free market is like I was a 2 year old? if Spotify hire a militia and let them demolish all Apples offices, is that just the free market? Apple should just have invested more in defense.
- carlosjobim 3y agoUh, is this something that was brought up at the developers conference and I missed? Or was this in Spotify's quarterly reports?
- saurik 3y agoJust because a company is also evil itself doesn't mean that it can't make a very correct point about anther company's clearly despicable behavior.
