By looking at the stats, it looks like we've pretty much hit +1,5 degress celsius. Something we all feared, yet it's around the corner now.

- jfengel 3y agoWe're hitting 1.5C on an intermittent basis. We hit it last year, and possibly this year, due to El Nino, but we'll probably drop below it next year. Best estimates right now for being +1.5C every year are probably circa 2040. Though it could well be sooner, given how badly we're doing at preventing it.
- breakyerself 3y agoThe rate since 1982 is 0.2C per decade, but I would really like to see a chart with 10 year rolling average because it feels like it's going faster than that even before the El nino
