- lolinder 3y agoFrance has a civil law system [0] which doesn't place nearly as strong an emphasis on precedent as common law does, so this specific case probably won't help speed anything up. - arlort 3y agoPrecedent isn't binding in civil law systems, but that doesn't mean it is ignored. Especially when set by higher courts
