Regarding the 30-foot distance, my daughter was home and had not seen anyone for 2 weeks. If she got it from us, the 4 PCRs we've had would have shown us being the source. She had symptoms - headache, a fever, a sore throat, and nasal congestion. She had several positive PCR tests after the first one. It is possible, given the right conditions. My point was that if I can smell somebody's perfume from a great distance, I can also inhale their virus.
