The loss of truth and what’s real. AI can generate very plausible statements on nearly anything. Doesn’t mean it’s true though.
I’ve seen people using ChatGPT to do market research. They had prompts returning what would have been proprietary competitor information. Instead of thinking “How could this robot possibly have access to that?”, they instead posted on LinkedIn about how much time ChatGPT was saving them.
- milliondreams 3y agoThat is a very interesting challenge and even more intriguing example. I have seen many cases, where people have been using ChatGPT for certain tasks, where it makes up data (it doesn't have) and users believe it, till someone points the data is incorrect.
