- dazc 3y agoI am sensitive to noise and would prefer to work in silence but it seems to be increasingly difficult to be anywhere where a random dog bark, shrieking child, nearby building works, etc will not not intrude at some point. Having a controlled background noise is, therefore, preferable to waiting for the inevitable disturbance.
