How come car insurance is so expensive in the US? In Europe it's vastly cheaper and the policies themselves are much better.
- Retric 3y agoI don't know the exact calculations but people in Europe have nationalized healthcare, more easily lose their license, drive less, and generally have smaller and cheaper vehicles.
- lozenge 3y agoWell traffic deaths per capita are about double in the US so that probably carries over to other insurance-triggering incidents.
