They’re in an unfortunate position here. If they ground 1/5 of their fleet for a prolonged period of time, it would cause a lot of flight cancelations and customers would be pissed. On the other hand, even jf they check over all the planes and take precautions, customers don’t want to fly on the planes and are pissed.
