- dylan604 3y agoIs that even close to a tit for tat? How many people would be upset because they couldn't have some "high end" bag vs how many would be upset about not having a mobile device?
- realusername 3y agoLike what? There's thousands of luxury bag and clothes manufacturers, it's not like you don't have a choice to shop somewhere else.
- snowpid 3y agoJust a nitpik: LVHM does not produce only had bags and clothes.
- realusername 3y agoYeah sure I'm simplifying a lot but the point still stands, for each category they are selling, they have thousands of competitors. I can't say the same on the Apple / Google duopoly.
- kryptiskt 3y agoLVMH doesn't want a 30% cut of everything you put in your handbag.
- tiahura 3y agoA 900% markup on their $2 bag seems unfair. LVMH is their biggest company. Got to hit 'em where it hurts.
- johneth 3y ago> LVMH is their biggest company. Got to hit 'em where it hurts. It only hurts a French billionaire. I doubt many Europeans give a solitary shit about the fortunes of LVMH.
