Restoring Starlink's Missing Ethernet Ports
- hedora 3y agoThe three things I really dislike about starlink are: The damn SPX connector The requirement that you use their terrible pole mount (I challenge you to design a satellite dish that is incompatible with poles) Their customer service setup. I can’t imagine living in a spaceship designed by these bozos. They really need to think through basic reliability and repairability for stuff that customers need to touch.
- kotaKat 3y agoThe SPX connector has been gone. Rev4 (Standard Kickstand) is compatible with normal RJ45 568B. You can slap it into any of the current Starlink PoE injectors on the market (like from Yaosheng) with general success. Though if you find yourself stuck with an SPX model, Yaosheng also has a nice quality adapter cheap, too.
