- lxgr 3y agoThat works (I suspect) because they run them as JavaScript in a different browsing context and have implemented some of the WebExtension APIs themselves on the backend, e.g. HTTP request filtering (which is one of uBlock's primary functions). That's a nifty workaround but not ideal, since it's not possible to actually provide all WebExtension APIs that way.
