With you on this one. It's impossible for me to fathom the thought of cutting down a tree that took 2000 years to grow. Let alone is so majestic! We humans are incredibly shortsighted. Today, we only have 2-5% of old growth trees left... and that's only because of people like you and me ( who care) fought to purchase them. Otherwise, someone would cut them down and sell them for a few bucks.
