- fnordpiglet 3y agoWell, I guess a difference is musk’s endeavors never legally chartered with a mission to put serving humanity above profit. OpenAI had a pretty clear charter and it’s veered far off that. Tesla never pretended to be anything but a for profit electric car …. well and solar roof and battery and charger network and well ok, but never made any legally binding commitment to another motive than profit.
