Is this kind of content interesting to HN readers? Seems like an ad to me.
- frfl 3y agoMajority of blogs these days are just for SEO and attracting search engine bots and eyeballs. I don't know if they all would technically fall under the definition of an ad, but definitely some would. Take a look at blogs take make the front page of HN, a lot are corporate blogs for SaaS platforms writing about something tangentially related to their primary product they're selling. The blogs themselves can be interesting, not always though, some are low quality, but often the motive is to funnel attention to their primary product.
