Runzas are just Cornish pasties, i think. Unless I'm missing something?
- zrobotics 3y agoThey're only similar in that they're a savory handheld pie, Cornish pasties have different fillings and a more pie like dough instead of a leavened bread like dough. They're closer to a pierogi than a Cornish pasty. A very similar dish is fleischkuekle, which is what my paternal grandmother would make, both russian/german dishes.
