I for one appreciate the bias has been acknowledged and the vow has been made to improve the system. As bias of some kind is inevitable I'm interested to see what Google comes up with. Historical accuracy would be a good start I think. But the history books are quite biased themselves. Having historians from a broad range of locales on staff may help. There are historical stories we in the west have never even heard of and wouldn't even think to ask questions about. Maybe an AI that writes bedtime stories could expand our knowledge of the world more.
