But their point stands, doesn't it? I don't use these tools, but often see news about how they're trained to give highly curated results. You took their example literally, but I think you know what they're talking about.
- pgeorgi 3y agoNot "highly curated" but "not showing certain types of results that were specifically blacklisted" (there, I said it. Boo.) A sure hit in that regard with American services is anything remotely sexual. I'd expect such services to become better than the current "I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave." and, while somewhat obnoxious perhaps, will lead to a result (to take the above example "The term whitelist is controversial because ... The allowlist feature in OpenWRT can be configured as follows: ...")
