End camera theft, cameras need locks [video]
- k310 3y agoI have often carried an older pocket camera (A Panasonic/Lumix with 8X optical zoom and 16 megapix) on trips and in crowded areas. They are smaller than most phones (which by the way, are very attractive theft targets) albeit fatter, and you get the nice optical zoom. Like wallets, I sometimes carry a spare junk camera as a decoy. I haven't gone so far as putting the good cameras in a beat-up backpack or beer cooler :-) I actually got a pet stroller for mammoth sessions on flat land like Yosemite Valley floor but haven't deployed it yet. Fits three camera cases. Your stroller may vary. I can't figure a way to hide airtags except maybe in a backpack. In a little film can holder? SD card holder? Dummy spare battery? You tell me! Good luck, photographers.
