Agreed with the idea that no transformation is instant. This is called "movie time" by Nolan, if I recall. It happens with romances in showing people "get to know each other." That all said... transformations can happen way faster than people realize. I remember in my 20s I could turn my fitness around stupid fast. Even as an older adult, things can change faster than I would anticipate. You have to treat it like a job, though.
