Humiliation is not isolated to startups. In fact every industry has these type of characters. Such behaviour is not the best method of motivating your team. Sadly it exists. What will you do differently next time? Would you call this behaviour out to your other manager or directly to the perpetrator? If you want to avoid it happening again you should speak up. Unless you don't mind the abuse?
