This is more work than it's worth, especially as the "no-cookie" domain could be deprecated or changed, leaving a bunch of broken embeds.
The embed doesn't achieve anything from a UX standpoint other than showing a preview thumbnail. I'd rather copy the thumbnail image, add that to the post and use a good old anchor link to the actual video.

- dijit 3y agoIt's good that the owners of youtube are known for keeping things around, especially things that are slightly left of official. /s (Yes, I hate myself for making this comment, but it had to be said).
