Apple Kills Its Electric Car Project
- ggm 3y agoThe IPR value will either go into cold storage, or get sold for it's best price when the time suits. At Apples value, this is chump change. I tend to think it indicates that Apple lawyers and risk planners do a better job than Tesla, when it comes to working out risk:return in autonomous driving. DARPA must have sunk comparable sums getting people to the door. Do you think they spent more, or less developing the vision pro?

- WheelsAtLarge 3y ago"In the last five years, it spent $113 billion on research and development." That's a mind-blowing number. I can't even begin to understand it. This is from a company that at one time was on the verge of disappearing.
