According to this video: https://youtu.be/agMrewRJTow?si=DrjfGsrKp5_ZazB- https://youtu.be/agMrewRJTow?si=DrjfGsrKp5_ZazB- There isn't a mechanical connection of any kind - the car just relies on triple(!) Backup for every component, including three fully independent power sources.
