Have a browse on Alibaba and check out what the products cost at the factory gate. I was recently in the market for a cover for my car, and I found the exact same model that retails for $200+ locally for $2 (two). Shein is just cutting out the middle man.
- pixl97 3y agoIt seems like a lot of local companies started selling this 'cheap bullshit' at super high profit margins. They won't be around long once people catch on to the game.

- alephnerd 3y agoShien isn't doing anything. It's just a platform. These kinds of platforms (Shien, Temu/PDD, Shoppee, Flipkart, etc) are very popular in Asia.
