This model clearly isn’t exactly in tune with the actual cultural zeitgeist, otherwise they wouldn’t have this issue. IMO it doesn’t seem aligned with broad cultural attitudes - it appears in line with a specific cultural attitude (one often called ‘woke’ although I don’t think that’s a particularly useful term).
