Since the new aircraft carriers have this new fancy electromagnetic catapults. Why don't they just use regenerative braking like the hybrid cars? They could save a lot of energy recharging those catapult accumulators. I'm joking, of course.

If those hybrid cars just had nuclear reactors they wouldn't need all that complex regeneration stuff, or an IC engine even :)
